Letter to The Yorkshire Post : 'inactive' or Overworked ?

29 December 2005

Dear Sir

Mr Murray (letters 29 Dec) suggested Mr Bloom and Mr Farage, the UKIP MEPs were “inactive”.

As Personal Assistant to Mr Bloom since his election in July 2004 I would point out he has missed only one plenary session in Parliament, he has dragged me to Strasbourg and Brussels on innumerable occasions, worked me to death on a Washington trip with Nigel Farage, insists on working Saturday mornings and opening the regional office at 7.30 am every morning.

He has logged over 50 radio and 20 TV appearances and writes regular letters and articles for all and sundry. Inactive!! I wish the wretched man would slow down a bit so I could spend more time with my horses!

Yours faithfully

Emma Brader (Miss)
PA to Godfrey Bloom MEP
