Brussels' propaganda is below the belt
|
Brussels' use of soft porn in its latest propaganda campaign is "cheap, tawdry and tacky" says Godfrey Bloom MEP.
Last week Brussels launched its latest propaganda campaign, this time targeted at the internet generation by taking a space on the massively popular YouTube website called "EUTube".
"It is like watching an elderly relative trying to be cool, very embarrassing", said Mr Bloom. "The vast majority of the films are dull, factually questionable and in some cases distinctly sinister; but the most popular according to visitor numbers is the soft porn "Let's come together" clip".
Mr Bloom has demanded that Brussels tell us how much the propaganda costs and how many people they have working on it.
"They really must be desperate if they are stooping as low as this. Though of course you might say it is appropriate for them to put out films like this, Brussels has been screwing the UK for at least thirty years".

Mr Bloom has asked the following question
" Will the Commission please explain,
1) The budget line on which this project is being run? 2) How many staff are employed on the project and whether external contracts are involved and with whom? 3) How much EUtube has cost to date? 4) What the projected cost of the project will be in years 2007, 2008, 2009?"
